On December 14th, 1976 the Fillmore County Commissioners passed a resolution requiring all registered land surveyors who perform a survey in Fillmore County must provide a survey drawing to the County Surveyor within 30 days after completion of the survey. All survey drawings so filed shall be available at all reasonable times for inspection by any person.
The Fillmore County Surveyor has over 4000 private land survey drawings on file at his office. These survey drawings can be VIEWED during normal business hours. These drawings are protected under the copyright laws of the United States Government and cannot be copied or scanned without the written permission from the land surveyor who prepared the survey drawing.
