Water Test Kits
The Southeast Minnesota Water Analysis Lab (SEMWAL) at Olmsted County Public Health Services is a certified lab who works with Fillmore County water tests. Water test kits are available to pick up from the Fillmore County Zoning Office. More information can be found on the SEMWAL website.

Fillmore Soil & Water Conservation District offers testing for the following:
- Bacteria tests are $50 regular or $20 if either a pregnant woman or child under 1 year lives at the location or spends the majority of their time there (example: daycares)
- Advanced testing for bacteria for irrigation water of food crops that quantifies the bacteria vs. mere presence/absence and are $60 each
- Nitrate tests are free - HOWEVER, this is not a certified lab to test nitrates
