Secondhand Smoke

slider-wave
Secondhand smoke or vapor enters the air when a person smokes or vapes. Exposure to secondhand smoke increases the risk of heart attacks, heart disease, stroke, lung cancer, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), and asthma attacks.

Fillmore County Public Health works with individuals, families and community partners to reduce exposure to secondhand smoke. Contact Fillmore County Public Health regarding tobacco prevention and control education and resources. For quitting tobacco resources, see the Minnesota Department of Health

Back to Public Health Home Page.

Fillmore County does not discriminate based on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or handicapped status in employment or provision of services.
