Every five years, Minnesota Community Health Boards participate in an assessment and planning process to guide public health priorities and focus on local resources. This process includes conducting a community health needs assessment with community members and developing a community health improvement plan. Fillmore County Public Health also reflects on current standards and organizational needs and then develops a Strategic Plan.
