Experience

• Hired as a patrol Deputy in Spring Valley in 1979.
• Moved to County Patrol in 1981
• Assigned to Investigations in 1985
• Promoted to Investigator in 1987
• Became Chief Investigator in 1989
• Promoted to Captain in 1996
• Appointed Chief Deputy in 2003
• Appointed Sheriff in 2005
• Elected Sheriff in 2006

Education

• Law Enforcement Degree from Alexandria Technical College in 1979
• Successfully completed FBI LEEDA Program in 2000
• Attended 95th class of National Sheriff’s Institute 2008
